TERMS & CONDITIONS
BOOKING

An initial assessment with all dogs / pets by Paddy wags dog walking adventures will be carried out prior to using Paddy Wags dog walking adventures. Paddy wags dog walking adventures reserve the right to refuse admission to any dog / pet deemed in their absolute discretion to be, or have the potential to be dangerous or disruptive.

The client is solely responsible for any harm or damage caused by their dog / pet whilst it is under the care of Paddy wags dog walking adventures, and agrees to indemnify any liability arising from such harm or damage to third parties.

The client agrees that in admitting their dog / pet, Paddy wags dog walking adventures has relied on the clients representation that their dog / pet is in good health and has not harmed or shown aggression or threatening behaviour toward any person or any other dog.

The client agrees to notify Paddy wags dog walking adventures of any unwelcomed , aggressive, procreative or dangerous behaviour of their dog / pet that has potential to cause harm to any other dog or individual.

Paddy wags dogs walking adventures reserves the right to refuse admission if the client fails to provide adequate proof of vaccinations (inc Bordetella) or the vaccinations are found to be expired or incomplete.

The client agrees to take any necessary measures or precautions to ensure that their dog is continuously free from contagious infectious diseases or otherwise commonable diseases. The client further agrees to notify Paddy wags dog walking adventures immediately of any infectious and / or contagious diseases or conditions their dog / pet has been exposed to or is affected by. Such diseases and conditions include but are not limited to: distemper, hepatitis, kennel cough, parvovirus, worms, lymes disease, fleas, pregnancy, infectious skin diseases and intestinal parasites. Paddy wags dog walking adventures reserves the right to refuse admission until satisfied that the condition is resolved.

The clients accepts that even though their dog is vaccinated against Bordetella (kennel cough) there is a chance that their dog can still contract kennel cough. The client agrees they will not hold Paddy wags dog walking adventures responsible if their dog contracts kennel cough whilst attending.

Paddy wags dog walking adventures will only let dogs off lead once an 'off lead' consent form is signed and will remain at the discretion of Paddy wags dog walking adventures.

Bitches may not attend Paddy wags dog walking adventures whilst in season or pregnant. Paddy wags dog walking adventures reserves the right to refuse admission if these criteria are not met.

The booked time is estimated only, and whilst i make every effort to be there on time, please allow up to 45 minutes after your booked time. This can be due to unforeseen circumstances, traffic / weather conditions. Please note it may not be possible for me to contact you if i am running late, however i will do my best.

The client consents to their dog / pet being photographed and filmed and used in any media or advertising for Paddy wags dog walking adventures without prior approval. All media remain the property of Paddy wags dog walking adventures.
COLLECTION & HANDOVER

Paddy wags dog walking adventures has a 'no pack' walking policy. We only walk no more then 4 dogs at one time where dogs can co - mingle in these small groups. The client accepts that during the course of normal dog play, their dog may sustain injuries. All dog play is monitored to avoid injury, but scratches, punctures, torn dew claws, torn ligaments or other injuries may occur despite best supervision.

The owner agrees to provide access or to provide a key to collect the dog / pop in for pet from the agreed address, time and day to Paddy wags dog walking adventures. Paddy wags dog walking adventures will only use the key to the owners property to collect and drop off / care for your pet (if pop ins are required) only and for no other . purposes. Keys will be securely kept and not labelled with address details.

Access to the property must be straight forward, eg, doors unlock easily, gates easy to open. If access cannot be gained, after making all reasonable effort you will still be charged for the walk / pop in.

The client agrees to supply suitable harnesses / collars / coats and accessories needed for the walk. All dogs must wear an identity tag when in a public place. This must show the name and address of the owner. Paddy wags dog walking adventures will attach a identity tag to your dog if in absence of one.

All dogs will be cleaned to a satisfactory condition before returned home from walks, however Paddy wags dog walking adventures will not be held liable for any associated grooming or cleaning charges as a result from the dog walk.

The client agrees that Paddy wags dog walking adventures is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged leads, collars, tags, clothing or any other item left with their dog.

The client agrees to ensure their dog has eaten in the hour before pick up to ensure sufficient time to digest food before any exercise or play. Failure to do so may result in the potentially life threatening condition Bloat (gastric torsion).
CHARGES & PAYMENTS

Charges are advertised on my website. My prices are very competitive and are non negotiable.

All payments for services by Paddy wags dog walking adventures / services MUST be paid in full when an invoice is sent.

Bookings must be booked with me a week in advance to avoid missing a slot.

Invoices will be sent a week after the day of your first service booked (e.g you book Tuesdays and Wednesdays for that week for a pop in / walk - your invoice will be sent the following Tuesday)

Paddy wags dog walking adventures reserves the right to impose a £2.50 late payment fee if a payment is more then 5 days overdue, then £0.50 charged on a daily basis after 5 days until payment is paid in full.

Payments can be made either through BACS or paypal. I can accept cash, however cash will need to be paid on the day or on the last day of booked in service in that week.
EMERGENCY & VETERINARY

The client is responsible for the full cost of treatment of any illness or injury that their dog / pet receives whilst under the care of Paddy wags dog walking adventures, along with other costs such as : call out charges. The client authorises the staff of Paddy wags dog walking adventures to seek veterinary advice / treatment as they deem necessary. Where possible this will be carried out by the clients usual / proffered vet, but this cannot be guaranteed (e.g in an emergency) and the client accept that the staff of Paddy wags dog walking adventures may at their discretion use any registered vet. The client agrees to pay all such costs immediately upon pick up of their dog / pet or by agreement with the proprietor.
CANCELLATIONS

Paddy wags dog walking adventures has the right to cancel or cut short any walk time, due to extreme weather conditions unsafe to either the dog or walker.

The client may cancel their booked slot without charge, provided a minimum of 24 hours notice is given. However, if a cancellation is made within 24 hours of the booked slot, the full rate will still be charged.

Should any dog become aggressive or dangerous, Paddy wags dog walking adventures / services will terminate the dog walking / service agreement with immediate affect.

All wrongful or misleading information in the 'welcome' pack may constitute a breach of terms of the walking agreement / services and be grounds for instant termination.

Termination under the circumstances of any outstanding payments owed to Paddy wags dog walking adventures / services.

Paddy wags dog walking adventures / services is a sole proprietor, so in the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to: ill health or extreme weather conditions, Paddy wags dog walking adventures will contact the owner as soon as possible so alternative arrangements can be made for their dog / pet.
